On Thursday 2^nd February 23 Year 12 students visited Bishop Grosseteste University to take part in their Next Steps 4 Study Programme. The programme aims to raise the aspirations of Y12 students by increasing their confidence and knowledge around applying to university.

Thursday gave students a chance to see what being a student at university entails by attending a mini lecture on Nature versus Nurture and Critical Thinking and Debating workshops. They were also given a tour around the campus and chance to chat with student ambassadors as well as university lecturers.
