Oliver Means was nominated for the award of Physicist of the Year which he duly received on Monday 6th July. The presentation was made possible by the Ogden Trust which is a charity that recognises and supports exceptional students in the field of Physics.
The award ceremony was held at the University of Lincoln where students from across the county were presented with an award by Professor Andrei Zvelindovsky (Head of the School of Mathematics and Physics) and Helen Pollard (representative of The Ogden Trust and The Institute of Physics). Oliver was nominated for this award as recognition of his achievement, application to the subject and commitment to succeed.
