Holocaust Centre Visit
Year 13 History students took part in a Sixth Form Conference at The National Holocaust Centre. As part of their A Level studies our Year 13 History students recently took part in a Sixth Form Conference at The National Holocaust Centre. The day centred around thought provoking and moving key note speeches from Professor William Niven, an eminent historian of modern Germany, and Dr Martin Stern who fascinated the audience with his account of how he,as a five year old boy, managed to survive the horrors of The Holocaust. Our students then collected evidence from the exhibitions there and played a prominent part in debates about the origins of The Holocaust with other students from across the Midlands. A valuable and rewarding day for all.
