Priory Lincoln Academy is a learning community where every member of our community has a responsibility to each other.  The strength of our academy is based on our ability to function as a learning community and to work together in order to achieve individual excellence.

As a student I pledge to…..

1. Have the highest possible expectations for what I can achieve at Priory Lincoln Academy and beyond.

2. To be the very best version of myself in the academy, to and from the academy and whilst representing our academy.

3. Wear my uniform smartly and with pride, in accordance with the Academy expectations.

4. Have the highest possible attendance (95% plus) in order to give myself the best chance to achieve individual excellence.

5. Focus on learning and make every lesson count.

6. Complete my homework with pride and in a timely manner.

7. Work with my teachers to achieve ambitious goals and devise appropriate plans to achieve them.

8. Commit to extra-curricular activities and participate with positive endeavour.

9. Take responsibility for the environment and the wider community.

10. Inform a member of staff if I am concerned about anything or anyone.

As a member of staff, where relevant, I pledge to….

1. Ensure that students achieve individual excellence.

2. Be proactive in forming positive relationships with students which facilitates success.

3. Ensure that students wear their uniform with pride at all times.

4. Encourage the highest levels of attendance.

5. Ensure that lessons are highly effective and result in learning

6. Set and mark homework in accordance with the Academy policy

7. Assess progress, and ensure that students are both aware of and achieving their targets

8. Support and contribute to the academy’s extra-curricular programme.

9. Develop community links for the promotion of positive educational activities.

   10.  Be aware of student concerns and communicate them effectively and appropriately.

As a parent I pledge to…..

1. Encourage my child to make the best possible use of the opportunities provided.

2. Support the academy and your child to be successful by taking an active interest in your child's education.

3. Support the academy and your child by ensuring they have the correct academy uniform and that it is worn with pride.

4. Encourage my child to achieve the highest levels of attendance and communicate with the Academy on attendance issues

5. Support and help foster a positive attitude to learning by celebrating the positives communicated on Class Charts.

6. Encourage completing homework with pride and in a timely manner.

7. Support my child to set goals to achieve ambitious targets (Growth Mindset)

8. Encourage my child to take part in extra-curricular activity and to embrace new opportunities.

9. Encourage my child to contribute to our learning community and to represent our Academy with pride.
