7 of our students represented us in the Lincoln Schools Challenge. They investigated different factors which affect the growth of shoots. This project was completely independent and completed in a month with a half-term in-between. They did us proud and came third, the only secondary school to show how they could work independently without a lot of input from teachers. The judges said “this level of commitment showed their high level of engagement in the challenge and the judges were impressed that our students were able to talk about their project compared to other groups.
