Physical Education
'Building powerful knowledge to grow confident & creative global citizens.’
At the Lincoln Academy our students are healthy and knowledgeable citizens of the world. They develop their physical performance, their strategic thinking and their ability to work as team. Students have positive experiences of sport and exercise across a variety of disciplines which ignite awe and wonder, creating lifelong interests and habits. Students are supported to demonstrate their natural aptitude for a sport and compete at all levels including the very highest. We encourage everyone to actively engage in healthy lifestyle choices through a wide and varied curriculum that will inspire participation. Participation in our curriculum envelops the development of athletes and also leaders, coaches and officials.
Our recovery curriculum supports students' academic progress by acknowledging potential missed learning opportunities, supporting student wellbeing and facilitating enrichment. We continue to develop students resilience and sense of achievement fostering their ambition and celebrating their successes.
